Thirteen enterprises and individuals in Chengde City donated funds and materials totaling 14.8978 million yuan to support epidemic prevention and control efforts.
On February 8, a donation ceremony for epidemic prevention and control supplies for novel coronavirus pneumonia was held at the municipal government. Thirteen enterprises and individuals in our city donated funds and supplies totaling 14.8978 million yuan through the Municipal Red Cross Society to support epidemic prevention and control efforts.

The 13 companies are as follows: Chengde Longzhida Intelligent Instruments and Meters Technology Co., Ltd., Chengde Jianlong Special Steel Co., Ltd., Chengde Qianlong Zui Liquor Industry Co., Ltd., Chengde Summer Resort Enterprise Group, Chengde Tianda Vanadium Industry Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Haitian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Baoyu Hanfu Commerce & Trade Chengde Co., Ltd., Chengde Shenli Food Co., Ltd., Chengde Kuangguang Supermarket Group Co., Ltd., Guodong Xinjing (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Chengde Weixu Commerce & Trade Co., Ltd., Chengde Hongtai Baichuan (Sany Heavy Industry) Construction Machinery Sales Co., Ltd., and the Municipal Association of Female Entrepreneurs. Additionally, Mr. Yu Peijun, a caring individual, made a personal donation of 100,000 yuan.
To jointly fight the epidemic, caring individuals and enterprises from all sectors of society have generously donated funds and supplies, pooling their compassion to create a powerful force in the battle against the pandemic. As of 10:00 a.m. on February 8, the city’s Red Cross system had received total donations—both monetary and in-kind—amounting to 21.304 million yuan, of which 18.596 million yuan has already been allocated to the frontline of epidemic prevention and control.
Cui Wanfeng said that although our city’s epidemic prevention and control work for the novel coronavirus pneumonia is currently proceeding in an orderly manner, the situation we face remains extremely severe. Supplies for epidemic prevention and control are still in short supply, and it is essential for all sectors of society to join forces and overcome these difficult times together. The Red Cross Society must earnestly shoulder its glorious mission of raising funds and materials for epidemic prevention and control, keep donation channels open and unobstructed, carry out its work meticulously and thoroughly, organize social donations in a standardized and orderly manner, and strictly manage every single donation—both funds and supplies—to ensure that epidemic prevention and control resources are directed precisely where they are most needed, maximizing the impact of the donated resources and living up to the kindness, generosity, and trust of caring enterprises and individuals.
