Longzhida Company Successfully Hosted the Victory Parade Commemorating the War of Resistance.
Today is a day that every Chinese person should solemnly remember—the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
Eighty years ago, our mountains and rivers were torn apart, and our homeland was invaded. The iron hooves of the aggressors trampled across Chinese soil, leaving countless compatriots displaced and homeless amid the flames of war. Countless heroic martyrs bravely stepped forward one after another, sacrificing their lives in the thick of battle. That was a history of heart-wrenching suffering—and also a history of indomitable resistance that shook mountains and rivers. Yet today, seated in this bright conference room, we witness, through a large screen, our motherland standing tall and majestic in the East of the world. At the moment when the national anthem resounded and ceremonial cannons boomed simultaneously on Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, every single member of Chengde Longzhida Company was deeply moved and filled with soaring emotions.

At this moment, we’re not merely watching a simple military parade—we’re looking back on a nation’s suffering and awakening, and witnessing a country’s rise and rejuvenation.
As the sons and daughters of the people march past Tiananmen Square with firm, resolute steps, every perfectly synchronized movement seems to be whispering: “We have never forgotten.” Their upright postures and steely gazes carry the unfulfilled aspirations of the martyrs and bear the weight of the mission entrusted to them by our times. In that moment, we seem to see again those soldiers who stood firm in the bitter cold 80 years ago, the figures darting through enemy lines in guerrilla warfare, and the unsung heroes who built the Great Wall with their own flesh and blood. Today’s peace was bought with their lives; today’s dignity was forged through their sacrifices.

Sitting here in the conference hall, as employees of an ordinary company, we deeply feel the pulse of our times. Although Longzhida Company is small, it is still an integral part of this great era. The products we manufacture may be just one link in the industrial chain—but it is precisely countless enterprises like ours and workers like us who together have laid the solid foundation upon which China stands today.

As Longzhi enthusiasts, we may not be able to defend our country like soldiers or overcome challenges like scientists—but we can still do this: fulfill our duties conscientiously in our posts, strive for excellence in our work, collaborate closely within our teams, and spread positive energy in our daily lives. We can transform the “spirit of resistance” into a “craftsman’s spirit,” infuse our “love for home and country” into our “corporate responsibility,” and with every small yet meaningful effort, contribute our part to social progress.
