The working principle of a smart mixing faucet.
The working principle of the smart mixing valve—by “smart mixing valve” I’m referring to the type used in public bathhouses for blending hot and cold water, not the kind used for building-level heating systems. Smart mixing valves have a wide range of applications: they’re suitable not only for bathhouses in government agencies, organizations, enterprises, and public venues, but also for industries such as chemical processing and textile dyeing that require constant-temperature water. With slight modifications, they can even be used in central air-conditioning systems—for maintaining stable water temperatures in cooling and heating systems, among other applications.
It’s called a “smart” mixing valve because it’s a mechatronic device with digital display, operating via electromagnetic induction. It requires absolutely no manual monitoring or manual water mixing. After setting the desired temperature on the digital display, all you need to do is plug it in. Yet, this smart mixing valve consumes very little electricity—so little that it might use only one unit of power per day. A mixing valve is a convenient mechatronic device that uses a temperature sensor to detect water temperature, a microcomputer to control the system, and an electromagnetic valve to drive the mechanism, automatically adjusting the water temperature to reach the preset target level. The Longzhida mixing valve from Chengde achieves constant-temperature and constant-pressure supply of hot water for bathing, effectively addressing the wasteful use of thermal energy, manpower, and water resources typically associated with traditional single-boiler systems and conventional thermostatic mixing valves.
Simply put, the operating principle of a smart mixing valve is as follows: After the device is turned on, the user sets the desired mixed water temperature. A temperature sensor then detects the water temperature inside the pipe and transmits this information to the computer control unit. The microcomputer control unit promptly calculates the required amount of hot or cold water to be added (or reduced) based on the current water temperature and flow rate in the pipe. The microcomputer then controls the solenoid valves, which quickly adjust the mixing blades and water valves accordingly. This process repeats continuously, ensuring that the output water maintains a constant temperature with a temperature deviation not exceeding 0.5 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the smart mixing valve is equipped with an overtemperature and undertemperature alarm function.
Considering the issue of water pressure fluctuations in large-capacity water supply systems, technicians from Chengde Longzhida have installed a pressure-stabilizing device on their intelligent mixing equipment for large capacities—mixers capable of supplying more than 50 tons of water per hour. This ensures constant temperature and pressure in the water supply, bringing great relief to public bathhouses.

The following are the specifications for the Chengde Longzhida HSZ-30A smart mixing valve:
Dimensions: 890mm × 400mm × 980mm
Water output per hour: 30 tons/hour
Power supply voltage: 220V (380V after 50A)
Water temperature input: ≤75°C
Output water temperature: 32-48°C
Overall machine weight: 180 kg
Output constant water temperature error: ±0.5°C
Start-up temperature adjustment time: ≤2 min
Advantages of mixer products:
1. Smart mixer faucet. Automatically controls water temperature adjustment, making it convenient for water and energy conservation.
2. The mixing equipment features high reliability, strong anti-interference capability, and a long service life.
3. The mixer offers a wide temperature control range and high temperature control accuracy.

Longzhida Company Successfully Hosted the Victory Parade Commemorating the War of Resistance.
Today is a day that every Chinese person should solemnly remember—the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
On July 2, Chengde Longzhida Company held a meeting with the Sino-German Institute. After thorough discussions between the two sides, Mr. Bai, General Manager of Longzhida Company, and the faculty team from the Sino-German Institute reached a consensus: Longzhida Company officially entrusted the Sino-German Institute to carry out the design and R&D work for a new type of ultrasonic water meter.
On May 30, Longzhida Company successfully held an exceptionally meaningful event titled “Welcoming the Eighth ‘National Science and Technology Workers’ Day’: Promoting the Spirit of Scientists.”
