2021 Chengde Tap Water Tariff Standards
Water is the source of life, and its price has always been a focal point of public concern. Prices vary from region to region. So, what were the charging standards in Chengde in 2021? After consulting with the relevant authorities, we’ve compiled the charging standards for Chengde for everyone’s reference.
According to the water pricing standards stipulated in the "Implementation Opinions of the Chengde Municipal Price Bureau on Adjusting Urban Water Supply Prices and Wastewater Treatment Fee Collection Standards in the Urban Area," issued by the Chengde Municipal Price Bureau:
1. The current rate for residential water consumption is 2.20 yuan per cubic meter.
2. The current rate for administrative and public service water use is 3.60 yuan per cubic meter;
3. The current water rate for industrial and commercial enterprises is 4.80 yuan per cubic meter.
4. The current water rate for services such as hotels and catering is 7.00 yuan per cubic meter (hotels rated three stars or above shall be charged at 50% of the adjusted rate, except for special cases).
5. The current rate for special-purpose water use is 15.00 yuan per cubic meter;
6. Fee standards for package-rate households whose consumption cannot yet be measured by meter: 3 cubic meters per person per month for apartment buildings, and a fixed rate of 2 cubic meters per person per month for single-story houses.
7. For urban groups facing particularly severe hardship, the prices prior to the adjustment will continue to apply, provided they present a certificate of low-income status issued by the civil affairs department.
8. According to Article 15 of the “Implementation Rules for the Management of Urban Water Supply Prices in Hebei Province,” for water supply prices at which the water supply enterprise cannot directly serve end-users and instead adopts a bulk-sale model through property management companies or housing developers, the water supply enterprise and the property management company or housing developer shall, while ensuring that residential water prices remain unchanged, negotiate and agree on a reduction of 4% to 10% from the residential water price. The agreed-upon reduction shall then be reported to and filed with the price administration authority for implementation.
