What are the differences among NB-IoT, CAT.1, and 5G?
In the era of the Internet of Everything, the network is paramount. 5G networks boast features such as high bandwidth and low latency. Below, we’ll introduce the differences among NB-IoT, CAT.1, and 5G.
NB-IOT
NB-IoT, short for Narrowband Internet of Things, features wide coverage, low power consumption, low module costs, and more. Its transmission rate is around 250 Kbps. As 2G networks are being phased out, NB-IoT is gradually replacing the original 2G applications, and in the future, it will see even larger-scale and more diverse applications.

Cat.1
Compared to NB-IoT, Cat.1 offers a higher transmission rate and lower cost than Cat.4. It can seamlessly integrate into existing LTE networks and features low transmission latency. Its transmission rates are 5.2 Mbps for uplink and 10.3 Mbps for downlink, and it supports normal data transmission even at mobile speeds of up to 100 km/h. It is primarily used in scenarios such as shared terminals, financial payments, smart POS devices, industrial control, in-vehicle payments, and public network walkie-talkies.
5G
5G represents a brand-new network architecture. The deep integration of 5G with technologies such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and virtual and augmented reality provides end-to-end, all-scenario connectivity capabilities for the digital transformation of various industries. 5G networks feature high bandwidth and low latency, among other characteristics.

Longzhida Company Successfully Hosted the Victory Parade Commemorating the War of Resistance.
Today is a day that every Chinese person should solemnly remember—the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
On July 2, Chengde Longzhida Company held a meeting with the Sino-German Institute. After thorough discussions between the two sides, Mr. Bai, General Manager of Longzhida Company, and the faculty team from the Sino-German Institute reached a consensus: Longzhida Company officially entrusted the Sino-German Institute to carry out the design and R&D work for a new type of ultrasonic water meter.
On May 30, Longzhida Company successfully held an exceptionally meaningful event titled “Welcoming the Eighth ‘National Science and Technology Workers’ Day’: Promoting the Spirit of Scientists.”
