How can you save money when billing for heating heat meters?
As the winter solstice approaches, temperatures across the country have plummeted to below zero degrees Celsius. Snow is falling in many regions, making staying at home the warmest and most comfortable option. Many friends have been asking: With heat metering replacing area-based billing, are heating costs now higher than before? Below, we’ll share some tips on how you can save money.
1. Optimize the heating system
The underfloor heating circuits were not laid out evenly—some circuits are long while others are short—which could lead to uneven room temperatures. Alternatively, flooring with relatively high thermal insulation properties has been installed.
2. Emphasize indoor thermal insulation performance.
If the doors and windows at home are relatively drafty, or if the walls lack insulation layers, this will result in poor indoor thermal performance and faster heat loss.
You can hang an insulated curtain on the door and seal any gaps in the windows as much as possible to improve indoor thermal insulation. If the ceiling height is relatively high, you could consider installing a drop ceiling or taking other similar measures to help conserve heat.

3. Adjust your heating needs according to the outdoor temperature.
If the weather is nice during the day and the outdoor temperature is relatively high, you can appropriately reduce or even turn off the heating.
4. Avoid setting the indoor temperature too high.
For winter heating, maintaining a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius at home is sufficient. Temperatures that are too high will waste heat and make people feel irritated.
I hope the methods mentioned above will be helpful to everyone, and I wish you all a warm and comfortable winter.
