Disadvantages and Improvement Solutions for Wireless Remote Water Meters
The communication pathway for IoT smart water meters and their integrated processing systems is as follows: Data travels through multi-level communication devices at the upper layers, then via the Internet network, ultimately reaching the IoT smart water meter integrated processing system. Since both remote communication technology and IoT technology face security challenges in data transmission, information security management for IoT smart water meters poses significant risks. When using remote communication devices, data may be subject to errors or even deliberate tampering by humans, potentially causing the IoT smart water meters to fall out of control and allowing users to bypass the water supply company’s billing and management system, thereby using water arbitrarily. Moreover, when relying on the Internet network, Internet servers are vulnerable to cyberattacks; without the knowledge of IoT smart water meter users, their information can be read and altered. Additionally, unauthorized users can forge and replicate the identity of IoT smart water meter devices, masquerading as legitimate users and injecting false data into the billing and management system, enabling them to modify meter readings and steal water volumes, thus inflicting economic losses on the water supply company. As illustrated above, IoT smart water meters still harbor numerous security risks. These risk factors not only lead to financial losses for water supply companies but also underscore the urgent need for further improvements to existing IoT smart water meter systems.

To overcome the aforementioned shortcomings of existing technologies, the purpose of this utility model is to provide an IoT smart wireless remote water meter that ensures data transmission security and supports IoT-based monitoring. The solution adopted by this new technology to address these issues is as follows: The IoT smart wireless remote water meter comprises several remote water meter units, an IoT system, and a meter-reading mobile terminal. Specifically: the remote water meter unit includes an identification module and a storage and security processing module; the meter-reading mobile terminal includes a reading module and a transmission module. The meter-reading mobile terminal is connected to the IoT system via the transmission module, and the reading module is connected to the remote water meter unit.

Longzhida Company Successfully Hosted the Victory Parade Commemorating the War of Resistance.
Today is a day that every Chinese person should solemnly remember—the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
On July 2, Chengde Longzhida Company held a meeting with the Sino-German Institute. After thorough discussions between the two sides, Mr. Bai, General Manager of Longzhida Company, and the faculty team from the Sino-German Institute reached a consensus: Longzhida Company officially entrusted the Sino-German Institute to carry out the design and R&D work for a new type of ultrasonic water meter.
On May 30, Longzhida Company successfully held an exceptionally meaningful event titled “Welcoming the Eighth ‘National Science and Technology Workers’ Day’: Promoting the Spirit of Scientists.”
