Problems with Smart Water Meters and Their Solutions

- The IC card slot of the water meter is exposed, making it easy for foreign objects to enter the slot. This can cause problems with the water meter. Therefore, you should periodically check and clean the card slot to keep it free of debris.
- If you find that the faucet won’t produce any water, it could be because there’s no water in the meter. Simply top up your account, and the water should flow again. If the water still doesn’t come out after topping up, manually open the valve upstream of the water meter. If there’s still no water, contact a professional repair technician for a thorough inspection.
- If you encounter low water flow from the faucet, here are the possible reasons: 1. The filter screen may be clogged—clean the filter screen. 2. The water pressure might be insufficient, especially during peak usage times. Try to avoid using water during these peak periods. 3. The valve may not be fully open.
- There’s also a display screen that can shut off the valve. When affected by external factors, the water meter receives a signal and automatically closes the valve. If you encounter such a situation, immediately contact a professional repair technician.
