Application of Smart Water Meters in High-Pressure Injection Systems
Currently, most of the high-pressure injection water used in oilfield high-pressure injection systems is metered by dry-type high-pressure water meters. However, given the specific on-site conditions of high-pressure injection systems, intelligent vortex flowmeters have been introduced to replace the dry-type water meters, thereby addressing the issues encountered in the field. The following sections will detail how this solution is implemented in practice:
1. High precision, wide measurement range
The flowmeter eliminates the impact of mechanical wear or deformation caused by pressure fluctuations on instrument accuracy and prevents clogging in dry-type water meters. The smart meter features a nonlinear correction function, allowing users to set parameters according to their needs.
2. Resistant to high-pressure impacts and with strong anti-interference capability.
The flowmeter is unaffected by fluctuations in system pressure; even in the event of pressure surges, the impact will not compromise the instrument's stability. Its measurement is also immune to changes in the medium (such as temperature and pressure). Furthermore, it boasts a wide linear measurement range.
3. The indicated value is simple and intuitive.
The flowmeter features an electronic widescreen, fully Chinese LCD display that provides instantaneous flow rate, total flow volume, and calendar display. It allows for easy recording of the liquid volume flowing through the meter as well as the cumulative total, making it instantly clear to operators, reducing calculation workload, and significantly improving statistical accuracy. Additionally, the flowmeter includes historical data storage and query functions, providing reliable data for oil and water well analysis.

4. Good interchangeability and easy verification
The flowmeter’s angular core can be interchanged with the existing high-pressure water meter core, reducing capital investment. The flowmeter core can be completely removed from the housing, making maintenance and periodic calibration of the flowmeter much more convenient.
5. Low maintenance and long service life
The flowmeter features a unique design with no moving parts, few maintenance points, minimal failure risks, high reliability, and easy maintenance. It boasts a high degree of integration, excellent overall corrosion resistance, and a long service life.
