How to reduce the error of wireless remote water meters?
A wireless remote water meter is a type of measuring instrument. However, some errors are bound to occur from time to time. So how can we reduce the errors in wireless remote water meters? Here are two methods that we’d like to introduce to you.
1. Complete the installation of remote water meters according to the specifications.
Select the appropriate water meter model; the choice of water meter caliber should be determined based on the flow rate to be measured. When installing the water meter, ensure that sufficiently long straight pipe sections are installed as required, and that valves and filtering devices for flow control are properly installed. The installation location of the meter should guarantee that the pipeline is completely filled with water, preventing air bubbles from accumulating inside the meter. Avoid installing the water meter at the highest point of the pipeline. The water meter must be installed horizontally; any inclination—whether forward/backward or left/right—will reduce its sensitivity and increase measurement errors.

2. Regular inspections
If regular inspections and maintenance are not performed, the accuracy of the water meter verification device will be affected, leading to measurement errors. This will in turn impact the user’s experience and usage.
