How to distinguish between wired water meters and wireless water meters?
With the rapid development of smart water meters, the market now offers a wide variety of water meter types—some wired, some wireless, some with valves, and others without. Below, we’ll show you how to distinguish between wired and wireless water meters.
To put it simply, we can first differentiate them by their naming: a wireless smart water meter, as its name suggests, has no communication signal “wires,” such as M-bus or RS485 buses. In contrast, a wired smart water meter does have communication signal “wires.” Whether it’s a wired or wireless smart water meter, both are equipped with remote data transmission capabilities and can both enable remote meter reading and remote valve switching operations.
The water meters developed by Chengde Longzhida Intelligent Instruments & Meter Technology Co., Ltd. feature high-quality craftsmanship, simple installation, and comprehensive after-sales service. Feel free to call for more information.
