Does the remote water meter have a battery? How do I go about replacing the water meter?
Remote water meters come in two types: wired and wireless. Wireless remote water meters are easier to install and more convenient to operate, making them increasingly popular. Often, display issues arise due to battery problems. If the issue is indeed related to the battery, simply replacing it will usually solve the problem. Although this process is quite straightforward, some people still find it difficult to do themselves. If you’re unable to replace the battery yourself, it’s best to contact someone from the water supply company to have them replace the battery for you. If other problems persist, you can always reach out to a professional repair technician.

Here is the specific procedure for replacing the water meter:
1. The user shall submit a meter replacement application to the meter reading counter at the Customer Service Department, presenting their user card and the water bill payment receipt for the current month.
2. The meter reader in the jurisdiction will process the water meter replacement procedure, and the user will pay the meter replacement fee.
3. Schedule the water meter replacement time through the Meter Service Center.
4. Staff members record the initial readings and meter numbers of both old and new water meters, and obtain the user’s signature for confirmation.
5. Replace the water meter
