IC card water meter
IC card water meters have consistently been popular in the market. Below, we’ll introduce their functional advantages from several perspectives.
1. Statistical functions. On the last day of each month, the water meter will aggregate and store the water consumption data for that month. When the user inserts the IC card into the water meter, the data will be automatically written back onto the IC card, making it easy for the user to keep track of their household water usage.
2. Overdue payment record. When the water meter malfunctions or encounters other unexpected issues that cause the valve to remain open without any metered water consumption, the water meter can record an outstanding balance.
3. Function for setting baseline water volume and managing water usage exceeding the planned quota. For basic water volume, if a user’s water consumption does not reach the basic water volume, billing and charges will be based on the basic water volume. Any water consumption exceeding the basic water volume will be billed and charged at a rate higher than that for the basic water volume.
4. One household, one card function. One household is assigned one card through the establishment of a user password and a user verification code. Each water meter can only use one dedicated card.
5. Card reissue function. If a user’s card is lost or severely damaged, a replacement card can be issued.
