Gain knowledge: How do heat meters save energy?
A heat meter is an instrument used to measure and display the amount of heat released or absorbed by water flowing through a heat exchange system. Installed at the inlet or outlet of a heat exchange circuit, a smart heat meter accurately measures heat consumption in heating systems and helps control billing. Its operating principle involves installing a heat meter within the heat exchange system.
As the water flows through the system, the heat released or absorbed by the system is calculated and displayed by the calculator based on the flow rate provided by the flow sensor, the supply and return water temperatures measured by the paired temperature sensors, and the duration of water flow.

For a long time, residential heating in northern Chinese cities has generally been billed based on living area rather than actual heat consumption, leading to a lack of energy-saving awareness among users and severe resource waste. Clearly, the measurement method is unscientific. In the early 1980s, heat meters were widely adopted in developed countries such as those in Europe and the United States. By using heat meters as the basis and tool for pricing and billing, heating companies have achieved energy savings of 20% to 30%.
As a fundamental measure for building energy conservation, the Ministry of Construction has incorporated heat metering and billing into both the Ninth Five-Year Plan for Building Energy Conservation and the plan for 2010: installing heat meters and related regulating equipment in residential buildings that utilize centralized heating systems and adopt individual household metering and billing. After achieving positive results through pilot programs in 1998, the initiative began to be widely promoted. In 2000, it was first implemented in newly developed residential districts in key cities, and by 2010, it had been fully rolled out nationwide.

Longzhida Company Successfully Hosted the Victory Parade Commemorating the War of Resistance.
Today is a day that every Chinese person should solemnly remember—the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
On July 2, Chengde Longzhida Company held a meeting with the Sino-German Institute. After thorough discussions between the two sides, Mr. Bai, General Manager of Longzhida Company, and the faculty team from the Sino-German Institute reached a consensus: Longzhida Company officially entrusted the Sino-German Institute to carry out the design and R&D work for a new type of ultrasonic water meter.
On May 30, Longzhida Company successfully held an exceptionally meaningful event titled “Welcoming the Eighth ‘National Science and Technology Workers’ Day’: Promoting the Spirit of Scientists.”
