The main testing methods for heat meters include the overall verification method and the component-by-component verification method—both of which are commonly used. 1. Overall verification method
The overall verification method is the most commonly used and also the most effective method for heat meters.
Set a specific flow rate and temperature difference using the standard calibration device. The standard value for heat is directly provided by the standard device. By comparing the heat reading from the meter being tested with the standard value, you can determine the error.

2. Split-Test Calibration Method
Compared to the holistic identification method, the split identification method is more precise. It involves separately testing the flow meter, temperature sensor, and totalizer of the heat meter. The measured readings are compared with the standard values, and the differences are summed up—this sum represents the error.
