What should I do if the water meter freezes?
The weather is gradually getting colder, but smart water meters are precision measuring instruments. In cold weather or under intense sunlight, the meter’s accuracy can be affected. Below, we’ll show you what to do if your water meter gets frozen.
1. First, check the issue and see if you can resolve it yourself.
2. If you can’t handle it yourself, contact the property management company. If the property management company can’t handle it, then contact the manufacturer.

3. If the water meter is not within its warranty period, you will be responsible for the cost of repairing it.
4. If the water meter is broken, the water supply won't be shut off, but you’ll need to replace the battery.
The above are the specific solutions. You can wrap a water meter with sponge or other protective materials to prevent it from freezing. We hope this helps everyone. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out—our contact number is 0314-5932916, and we’re here to assist you anytime.
