What are the features of code-based smart water meters?
What is a code-based water meter, and what are its key features? Recently, many friends have been asking this question. Below, we’ll introduce you to the code-based smart water meter.
1. Prevent overdue payments: When a user’s water meter reaches zero, the valve will be shut off. The user can resume water usage by promptly paying the bill and entering the required code.
2. Emergency Overdraft: The operator can set a specific amount of overdraft capacity. When the user presses the activation button, they can use the emergency overdraft immediately. Once the emergency overdraft capacity is exhausted, the valve will automatically close, and the overdraft function will no longer be available. After purchasing new capacity, the overdraft capacity will be deducted first.

3. Automatic Detection: When incorrect data is entered, the number of errors is recorded. If the number of errors reaches or exceeds 8, the control system will shut down completely.
4. LCD Display: Users can view data information (cumulative usage, number of purchases, current balance) on the LCD screen.
5. Anti-tamper and anti-theft: The meter body features an integrated design to prevent users from disassembling it. If someone forcibly removes or damages the meter, the control system will automatically detect the intrusion and shut off the valve.
The above are the key features of code-based water meters. We hope this will help you better understand and use them. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask—we’re here to assist you anytime!
