What are the components of an IoT-enabled smart water meter, and what are its advantages?
The Internet of Things has played an important role in technology and industry, making industrial production simpler. Due to recurring epidemics, IoT-enabled smart water meters have become increasingly vital. What are the components of an IoT-enabled smart water meter, and what is its underlying principle?
The IoT smart water meter mainly consists of: sensors, wireless transmission, and a data monitoring center.
1. Sensor: A centralized sensor is an electronic device used to collect data signals from multiple direct-reading remote water meters, enabling external data processing and transmission. Under normal operating conditions, data is not transmitted in real time; data transmission occurs only when instructed by the terminal data monitoring center.
2. Wireless transmission: The collected data is transmitted to the data monitoring center via wireless communication.
3. Data Monitoring Center: The aggregation and integration of data are performed by the Data Monitoring Center through a remote meter-reading system, after which reports are generated. Meter-readers can view the data on their screens.
The wireless remote water meter employs wireless radio frequency technology and integrates a low-power, multi-channel embedded wireless module to enable wireless data transmission. With an independently designed RF circuit, it offers long transmission distances and easy scalability. It can both measure and store water consumption, enabling remote meter reading and control, as well as automatically monitoring battery status and operational conditions. It supports tiered water pricing. This meter boasts advantages such as cost savings, simple operation, and convenient maintenance.

Longzhida Company Successfully Hosted the Victory Parade Commemorating the War of Resistance.
Today is a day that every Chinese person should solemnly remember—the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
On July 2, Chengde Longzhida Company held a meeting with the Sino-German Institute. After thorough discussions between the two sides, Mr. Bai, General Manager of Longzhida Company, and the faculty team from the Sino-German Institute reached a consensus: Longzhida Company officially entrusted the Sino-German Institute to carry out the design and R&D work for a new type of ultrasonic water meter.
On May 30, Longzhida Company successfully held an exceptionally meaningful event titled “Welcoming the Eighth ‘National Science and Technology Workers’ Day’: Promoting the Spirit of Scientists.”
