How to package and store smart water meters
Smart water meters are gaining increasing popularity in the market, so more and more people are choosing to buy them. However, how can we prevent damage during packaging and transportation? Below, we’ll show you how to properly package and transport smart water meters.
Each smart water meter should be individually packaged to prevent damage during handling and transportation. The water meters should be stored horizontally. The outer packaging must clearly display the markings “UP” and “Handle with Care.” Water meters should be stored in an environment with a temperature ranging from 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. In summer, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight; in winter, take proper measures to protect them from freezing, as failure to do so could compromise the meter’s accuracy. Keep the meters away from any acidic or alkaline substances, as these could cause corrosion and damage. Store the meters in a dry location.
